Aberdour Golf Club
St. Andrews may arguably be the golfing centerpiece for golf in the Kingdom of Fife but throughout the Kingdom there are a number of golfing gems. One of these is Aberdour.
A beautiful parkland course with a glorious setting on the shores of the Firth of Forth, Aberdour Golf Club boasts several intriguing holes and splendid views towards Incholm Island, Edinburgh and beyond.
Just ten minutes' leisurely stroll from our hotel, the clubhouse is friendly and welcoming, offering warm hospitality and full catering facilities seven days a week, all year round. What could be more satisfying than a round or two on these beautiful links, with spectacular coastal views and the comfort of your room at Aberdour Hotel in easy reach.
Burntisland Golf Club
A warm welcome also awaits you at nearby Burntisland Golf Club, officially recognised as the 11th oldest golf club in the world. The golf club celebrated its bi-centenary in 1997.
At Burntisland you can enjoy a famous 18-hole parkland course which was designed by the legendary Willie Park Jun. of Musselburgh, on the recommendation of no less a golfer than Tom Morris himself.
When visiting Fife why don't you treat yourself to a game where greats like Vardon and Braid competed against each other in their prime, and enjoy the spectacular views of the Firth of Forth along the way.
