A great way to explore Fife and keep fit at the same time is by bike! This is becoming
increasingly easy due to the development of the Kingdom of Fife Millennium Cycleways
- a network of more than 300 miles of dedicated cycle routes the length and breadth
of the region.
The cycle ways offer something for everyone, for the committed tourer there is the
105 mile Kingdom Route, a circuit between the Forth and Tay road bridges. There
are smaller regional networks in West Fife including an 8.5 mile off-road section
along a disused railway line with links into Devilla Forest, circular routes in
the picturesque Howe of Fife, and more being developed routes in the East Neuk south
of St Andrews.
There are also off-road routes, as well as urban networks in Fife's main towns.
